As an Acupuncturist, Lev has maintained healthcare for a diverse patient population utilizing a variety of methods, including but not limited to the following modalities: TCM acupuncture, Dr. Tans’ method acupuncture, Trigger Point acupuncture, auricular and scalp acupuncture. He has assisted in “Acupuncture for Post-operative lleus” and “Acupuncture for Diabetes” studies and has presented a case report on “Acupuncture for Refractory Back Pain” for the 2008 LMC Research Fair. He is currently enrolled in a Post-Graduate Training Program in Acupuncture for Stroke Recovery and Rehabilitation at the Lutheran Medical Center.
Lev Vyshedsky, L.Ac. believes that the integration of alternative therapies along with Western medicine provides patients with successful health care. He utilizes an eclectic approach to health issues, incorporating Acupuncture with Oriental Medicine and Qi Gong. The integration of these various modalities allows patients to experience deep relaxation while stimulating the body’s own natural energies to alleviate discomfort and illness.
