Holistic Primary Care Hudson County – Care Built Around One Physician, Not a Rotating Schedule

Hudson County has plenty of established internal medicine offices and a few practices that borrow the word holistic without much behind it. Finding one board-certified internist who is able to continue to be your own primary care physician of record and who also does gastroenterology and acupuncture in-house is more difficult to find nearby. That is what CITM provides, just a short drive from Hudson County.

Dr Finn MD of Hudson Primary Care

The In-House Team Handling Your Hudson County Care

  • Dr Roman Finn, board-certified internist, is your primary care physician of record from the beginning until after your visit, and every visit thereafter

  • Dr Scott David Lippe, gastroenterologist, intervenes when symptoms of digestion require special attention, and no outside referral is required

  • Lev Vyshedsky, L.Ac, licensed acupuncturist, is brought into your plan only when it genuinely fits your case

  • Nutrition guidance, stress management and lab review all run through the same practice, which is managed by a team who are familiar with your file

No aspect of your care is delegated to any other office you need to chase up.

Why Hudson County Patients Choose Physician-Led Holistic Primary Care at CITM

  • You have one doctor who is responsible for your treatment throughout your visits. Dr Finn reviews your file himself each time you come in, so you’re not explaining your history over again to whichever provider happens to be available that day.

  • Gastroenterology and acupuncture are handled in-house. Either one occurs within this practice, as part of the same plan, rather than as an additional referral that you’ll need to schedule, monitor, and follow up on outside of it.

  • Chronic conditions are followed between appointments, not just at your annual physical. Medication, nutrition or lifestyle changes occur immediately if labs or symptoms change, instead of waiting until the next scheduled visit, which can be months away.

  • The office is not far from Hudson County; it’s not an extra trip down the road. Typically, patients from Jersey City, Hoboken and neighbouring towns come to Paramus without adding any significant time to their busy day.

  • New patients are being accepted now. There’s no extended waitlist standing between a decision to switch and an actual first appointment.

Whole-Person Primary Care Hudson NJ

Whole-Person Primary Care That Keeps Pace With Your Commute

Whole-person primary care is when a lab result or symptom doesn’t just remain unaddressed until your next physical exam. Medication changes, food changes, or lifestyle changes are made the moment there is a change in the results; this is important for patients who are unable to fit an additional appointment into their week at different practices. If a complementary therapy is included in that plan, it is due to the result of therapeutic action and not because it is given to every patient as standard.

Holistic Health

A Care Plan That Moves With You, Not One Handed Over and Forgotten

If you have a plan that is built for you on day one, don’t rehash it a year later without taking a second look. Dr Finn adapts your plan as your lab test results change, your medications change and your situation changes. If the patient was adjusting the fit of the care around an erratic commute, then this type of continuous fitting is more important than the quality of the individual visit.

I have been going to Dr. Finn's office for over 15 years and I am very happy with the services and treatment I receive. Dr. Finn always listens to his patients and tries to get to the root of the problem instead of just treating the symptoms. I like that he always recommends using natural and alternative methods first instead of prescribing medications right away. I also go for a physical therapy at his office for my back problems. His physical therapist is very knowledgeable and massage therapists, Galina and Shirley, are the best! They always welcome me with the smile and are very attentive. I would not think of going anywhere else. Keep up a great job Dr. Finn and The Staff!!

Frequently Asked Questions: Physician-Led Holistic Primary Care in Hudson County

What makes this physician-led, compared to a typical primary care office?

Dr Finn remains your doctor of record throughout your visit, not necessarily the provider available on the day of your visit. Gastroenterology and acupuncture are provided in-house if it is relevant to your case and is being handled by the same team.

Not necessarily. Many patients maintain their existing practitioners and include this as another practitioner who reviews it all. Others make their main health care here. Both methods work.

Adjustments occur as soon as new labs are performed or new symptoms appear, not when a scheduled physical exam comes around.

No. Some patients have a baseline evaluation to detect a trend early on, before it’s a formal diagnosis.

Diabetes, thyroid, various autoimmune conditions and such things are actively managed here and adjusted with time as your labs and symptoms evolve.

This is a typical reason for people to come in. Sometimes what comes up in a review of your complete history and lab work is something that was overlooked in the individual system visits.

No referral is required to book your first appointment.

It’s within easy driving distance of Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken, Union City and Bayonne, where most patients add this trip to one they are already taking.
