Holistic Doctor Hudson County, NJ — Whole-Person Care Built Around Your Commute
Living in Hudson County is not easy–especially for these reasons: the PATH train, long NYC hours, and apartment-sized kitchens–so eating better, sleeping more, and reducing stress is not much of an easy rule to follow without knowing your schedule. When it comes to your Hudson County patients – Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City – CITM is a true holistic doctor's office, treating patients based on a realistic plan, rather than one for someone with a backyard and a 9-to-5 schedule.
A holistic doctor sees beyond the symptom in front of them to the life around it: the way your commute and your sleep window affect your health, the way your stress load affects your health, the way that real food actually affects your health. Led by a licensed physician at CITM and supported by a comprehensive integrative team, Hudson County patients receive medical-grade oversight rather than lifestyle advice.
Holistic Doctor Hudson County: Meet Dr. Roman Finn
The Center for Integrative & Traditional Medicine Medical Director, Roman E. Finn, M.D., will monitor your plan. Since 1981, Dr. Finn has worked in the field of traditional and alternative medicine, using traditional medicine combined with herbal medicine and homeopathy treatment to address immune system disorders, cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, fibromyalgia, depression, and musculoskeletal disorders.
Dr. Finn’s philosophy is grounded in a clear belief–body systems work together, so should health care systems. He looks at his patients not just for their symptoms, but for the stressors, sleep habits, nutritional concerns, and lifestyle issues – such as how commuting affects patients’ health – that are impacting their overall well-being, before creating a plan for the patient.
Credentials:
- Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management
- Diplomat of the American Board of Disability Analysts
- Named America’s Best Physicians 2021
- International Health Professional of the Year 2005, Cambridge, England
- Practicing traditional and alternative therapies since 1981
Dr. Finn’s patients in Hudson County have access to a physician-designed plan, not a wellness coach’s recommendations, that comes from decades of combining conventional and holistic medicine.
How Holistic Care Hudson County Patients Get at CITM: A 3-Step Process
Step 1 – Full-Picture Intake: Your first visit isn’t a rushed symptom check. Before Dr. Finn or someone in his office recommends anything, he or she examines your health history, current stress load, sleep patterns, and diet – including the realistic limitations of commuting and city living.
Step 2 – A Plan That Fits Your Actual Week: Instead of a plan that assumes free time you don’t have, your plan is created with what you actually have: therapies that fit around your commute, nutrition advice that fits into your small kitchen and limited time to meal-prep, and stress tools for a fast-paced day, not a retreat.
Step 3 – Coordinated Follow-Through: Your doctor, nutritionist, acupuncturist, and massage therapist are all on the same page. When your plan becomes a bit more flexible and requires making some adjustments around an intensive work schedule, the whole team adapts, not you alone having to handle different providers, different advice.
Holistic Health Hudson County Patients Ask For Most
- Commute-related tension and pain – time spent on transit or in a desk job becomes neck, shoulder and lower-back strain addressed with a combined chiropractic and massage approach
- Always-on stress – the constant on-the-go nature of today’s Hudson County/NYC work environment, which is managed through structured stress-management coaching instead of generic relaxation teachings
- Inconsistent food habits – late dinners, relying on meal delivery, and irregular eating times – tackled through nutrition guidance around your own food habits
- Sleep disruption – noise, screens, and erratic hours – are part and parcel of living in a dense urban environment, and should be solved as part of the total plan and not in isolation
- Desire for proactive healthcare, never urgent care visits – patients who are not tired of seeing the doctor when there is a problem

I have been going to Dr. Finn's office for over 15 years and I am very happy with the services and treatment I receive. Dr. Finn always listens to his patients and tries to get to the root of the problem instead of just treating the symptoms. I like that he always recommends using natural and alternative methods first instead of prescribing medications right away. I also go for a physical therapy at his office for my back problems. His physical therapist is very knowledgeable and massage therapists, Galina and Shirley, are the best! They always welcome me with the smile and are very attentive. I would not think of going anywhere else. Keep up a great job Dr. Finn and The Staff!!Posted on Google
