Chronic Fatigue Doctor Passaic County – Diagnosed, Not Just Managed
Most of the treatments that address fatigue in Passaic County focus on the symptom levels: chiropractic adjustment, physical therapy, laser therapy, a supplement line – and all the other things on the list, such as knee pain, migraines, and more. CITM begins with the question: what's really going on? This does not imply blood tests and a physician's examination before anything is treated, but rather along with treatment.
The Team Behind Your Fatigue Diagnosis
- Dr. Roman Finn, board-certified internist, personally evaluates you and is your physician of record from diagnosis to treatment
- Dr. Scott David Lippe, gastroenterologist, is onsite if digestive symptoms are a component of fatigue
- Lev Vyshedsky, L.Ac., licensed acupuncturist, is included in your plan only when it is an appropriate fit and is in addition to medical treatment, not in place of it
- Laboratories are requested, drawn, and reviewed by the same doctor who is treating your case
Physician-Led Fatigue Diagnosis vs. Symptom Management
When fatigue is treated as one symptom among many. There’s a lot more, such as knee pain, migraines, hair loss, back pain, and more, all treated the same way – manual therapy, laser treatment, or supplements – no matter what’s causing each person to feel exhausted.
When fatigue is investigated as its own diagnosis. Blood tests at CITM are optimized for the most common causes of fatigue: thyroid function, adrenal and cortisol patterns, nutrient levels, and blood sugar regulation. Treatment is based on the results, not a protocol that is used in exactly the same way with all patients.
Why that distinction matters. Manual therapy or acupuncture can actually ameliorate fatigue due to muscular tension or stress; it will not help a thyroid imbalance, will not help correct a nutrient deficiency, and it will not cure fatigue from some condition that was picked up on a blood test. A physician is able to make a diagnosis – before determining how to treat – that tells you which category you fall into.
Whole-Person Fatigue Care, Built on Diagnosis First
If you’re feeling tired, a whole-person approach to care doesn’t overlook the diagnostic phase. Thyroid function, adrenal and cortisol patterns, nutrient levels, blood sugar regulation, gut health, and sleep quality are all assessed together, and any complementary therapy that may be included in your plan (such as acupuncture) is added on top of that diagnosis, not replacing it.
A Fatigue Treatment Plan Based on What Your Labs Actually Show
Your plan is not a standard protocol given to all of your patients with the same complaint. Dr. Finn monitors your labs and symptoms and makes adjustments in your medication, nutrition, and other therapy directly as new results come in, based on what is actually causing your fatigue.

I have been going to Dr. Finn's office for over 15 years and I am very happy with the services and treatment I receive. Dr. Finn always listens to his patients and tries to get to the root of the problem instead of just treating the symptoms. I like that he always recommends using natural and alternative methods first instead of prescribing medications right away. I also go for a physical therapy at his office for my back problems. His physical therapist is very knowledgeable and massage therapists, Galina and Shirley, are the best! They always welcome me with the smile and are very attentive. I would not think of going anywhere else. Keep up a great job Dr. Finn and The Staff!!Posted on Google
